YOUR WORLD. YOUR PROGRESS.

Atlas privacy policy.

Your learning progress

Atlas saves your answers, review schedules, daily activity, streaks, and earned passport stamps on your device. When iCloud is available and enabled, it also stores that progress in your Apple Account’s iCloud key-value storage so it can sync across your devices. Atlas has no separate server for this progress.

No separate Atlas account

You don’t need an Atlas account. The app does not ask for your name, email address, microphone access, or location to practice geography. Audio clips are bundled with the app; if a clip is unavailable, Atlas uses the system voice.

Guest mode

Guest mode uses a temporary profile in memory. Guest progress is not uploaded to iCloud or added to the owner’s learning history. It is discarded when guest mode ends.

Apple services and external links

iCloud sync and terrain maps in country guides use Apple services. Those services may process information under Apple’s privacy policy. Atlas also links to sources for country facts. Opening those links takes you to sites with their own privacy policies.

This website

This website has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or mailing-list form. The three-question demo runs in your browser’s memory; it does not save answers or connect to the Atlas app or iCloud. Vercel hosts the site and may process routine request information, including IP addresses, for hosting, security, and service operation. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

If you contact me

If you email support, I receive your email address and the information you send. I use them to respond to your request. Please don’t send passwords, Apple Account credentials, or other sensitive information.

Keeping or removing your data

You control iCloud through your Apple Account settings. Removing the app from one device does not necessarily remove copies of progress in iCloud or on other devices. If you need help understanding or removing your Atlas data, contact me before making changes.
